Resolved Question: Camping location midway between Ogden, UT and Flagstaff, AZ?

I'm looking to do a camping trip next week. friends coming down from Ogden, UT and myself going up from Flagstaff, AZ. What is a nice location/area around halfway that will be warm(at night as well, were not looking to freeze to death while having fun) and also remote enough the the use of firearms(plinking and skeet) will not be looked down upon/illegal/attract unwanted attention from local law authorities....
